    As a new graduate in a Mechanical Engineering role, you will be involved in projects and initiatives to secure the high plant reliability these facilities require. Support for maintenance activities or capital project improvements will include addressing problems with high and low temperature materials, piping, valves, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment. You will also contribute to the identification and resolution of reliability issues.

     

     

    Responsibilities: 

    You will be provided with growth opportunities through training and special projects where new graduates are mentored to ensure continuous development and a rewarding experience.  The successful candidates will participate in our new grad program for the first 18 months of employment which includes rotating through three areas in our manufacturing site. Typical rotations are in our Ethylene or Polyethylene plants, Manufacturing Infrastructure (Utilities and Site Services Group) and Capital Projects groups.

     

    Qualifications: 

    You will be a graduate from a Bachelor’s program in 2018 or 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with eligibility for APEGA registration, complemented by a strong desire to work with a petrochemical company in a process plant.

     

    Your excellent organizational and communication skills work hand-in-hand with your ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You will be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to safety.

    • Transportation would be an asset as there is no public transportation to our Joffre Site.
