    This regional position is responsible for the planning/coordination of building relocations, repairs, and renovations. It is an expectation that this position is responsible for identifying and managing contract resources related to the Property & Services (P&S) building maintenance

    This position reports to the Property & Services Senior Coordinator for continued development of the Property and Services building maintenance. This role will also provide assistance with other P&S work across the region.


    • Planning and directing resources for execution of general building maintenance/office moves and building renovations
    • Assists the property and services team with logistics for the region (shutdown & unit outage)
    • Coordinates office moves for the region
    • Plans, schedules and executes SAP queues for regional building maintenance. These ques include: Office repairs and renovations, staff relocations, ergonomic adjustments, signage, building repairs, janitorial, pest control, audiovisual equipment.
    • Manages work flow and execute work in the field
    • Manages special events throughout the region
    • Executes building repairs in the field
    • Maintains high customer satisfaction. Must be able to manage conflict situations and work with the customers to improve situations
    • MECC safety and general work representative
    • Provides vacation coverage and support within the P&S group


    Minimum grade 12 with 6-8 years of experience in building and property maintenance. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of relevant computer systems and programs i.e.) Outlook, MS Office, scheduling and purchasing systems. Along with the demonstrated ability to execute building repairs in the field.

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    • Strong maintenance repair skill sets to complete general building maintenance activities and repairs
    • Strong communication skills working with customers to build a strong internal/external working relationships
    • Experience in performing ergonomics assessments to assess the office workspace and make any necessary recommendations, as well as physical adjustment to furnishings
    • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making tools to develop appropriate solutions
    • Good organizational skills
    • Self-motivated; able to function with general directions and objectives set by supervision
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a safe and responsible manner


    Note: The successful candidate for this role will be required to carry a property and services pager on a shared basis within the group
