    The Change Leadership Excellence (CLE) organization within NOVA maximizes and sustains value generation from Transformational Change projects through excellence in portfolio management, disciplined execution of change initiatives and through the maintenance of the needed organizational capabilities. The CLE also helps deliver results in the Continuous Improvement drive across NOVA through targeted consulting in concert with the HR Business Partners and the Operations Performance Excellence Team.


    Reporting to the Change Excellence Leader, the Change Specialist is a key member of the CLE team applying NOVA Change Leadership Framework knowledge and skills to facilitate the disciplined execution of Transformational Change Projects. This includes coaching and training NOVA staff in change activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provides change leadership Subject Matter Expertise to Transformational Change Projects through the disciplined use of the NOVA Framework and supports the project teams and HR business partners in the implementation of significant, measurable improvements in business performance;
    • Provides direction and targeted coaching on the use of the NOVA Change Leadership Framework to teams involved in Continuous Improvement initiatives;
    • Promotes and builds a learning environment within the project and provides appropriate challenge and support to team members and business partners;
    • Facilitates open communication and productive collaboration within the team and throughout the wider organization;
    • Enables NOVA staff to increase their engagement and work effectiveness by identifying and overcoming barriers to change;
    • Responsible for developing and delivering fit for purpose NOVA Change Leadership Framework training to employees;
    • Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the NOVA Change Leadership Framework and associated change leadership models and tools based on experience and gatekeeping of external best practices, advances and developments.


    Qualifications and Education:

    The successful candidate will have at minimum, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, strong track record of performance and at least 5 years of solid experience in significant change initiatives with proven sustained business value delivery. The individual will also possess an additional 5 years of client consulting or related experience. Ideally, they will also have:

    • Accreditation or certification in Change or Adult Learning and Development;
    • Experience in coaching and influencing others using various tools, models, and other practical problem-solving methodologies;
    • Demonstrated record of success in facilitating complex projects across functional boundaries;
    • Advanced knowledge of change leadership strategies and tools;
    • Strong communication and facilitation skills;
    • A demonstrated commitment to Responsible Care.



    *The successful candidate will be required to travel to other locations within North America approximately 30-50% of the time. As such, a valid passport will be required.
